A Ranking Rule precisely defines how a list of participants competing in an event should be sorted to create a result list.

An ordered list of RankingDirectives to follow to sort the participants in a Result List. When the Result List status is FUTURE or INTERMEDIATE only the first RankingDirective is used. When the status if UNOFFICIAL or OFFICIAL all RankingDirectives are used to sort a result list. Typically there will only be one RankingDirective in the list. This attribute is required. There must be one or more RankingDirective listed. |

HierarchialName |
String formatted as a Hierarchical Name |
The unique name space and proper name of this definition. Required. The namespace must be assigned to the users account when uploading to Orion's cloud. |
SetName |
String formatted as a Set Name |
Unique identifier given to this definition within all RANKING RULES objects. This value is controlled by Orion, users should not add this attribute to their definition files. See Set Names for more information. |
Version |
String as a Version. |
Version number. Required. |
Type |
String formatted as Type |
The type of reconfigurable rulebook definition. Must be the value "RANKING RULES". Required. |
Owner |
String |
The IAM user name of the Orion account. Of the form OrionAcctnnnnnn. Where nnnnnnis the Orion account number. For example OrionAcct001234. Required. |
Discipline |
String formatted as a Discipline |
The shooting discipline that uses this SCORE FORMAT COLLECTION Required. |
Subdiscipline |
String formatted as a Subdiscipline and Tags |
The subdiscipline to categorize this RANKING RULES. Not required, but strongly recommended. |
Tags |
List of Strings formatted as a Subdiscipline and Tags |
The tag or tags to categorize with. Not required but strongly recommended. |
