On an Athena for Clubs range Orion and all the EST Units the Network Manager serves as the central hub for communications. Without the Network Manager an Athena for Clubs range will stop working.

As a failover service, your Athena for Clubs range can instead choose to connect to Orion's cloud network (known as the Internet of Things Cloud or IoT Cloud). This failover should only be used when the Network Manager is inoperable as it requires a always on Internet connection. If you choose to use the failover, repair your Network Manager as soon as possible.

Enabling IoT Cloud Failover

If your Network Manager is inoperable enable Orion's IoT Cloud Failover service.

From Orion's Menu click on Athena -> Networking Help -> Failover to IoT Cloud.

When enabled, Orion will warn you that the Failover service is turned on.

Disabling IoTCloud Failover

Once your Network Manager is repaired, disable Orion's IoT Cloud Failover service.

From Orion's Menu click on Athena -> Networking Help -> Failover to IoT Cloud.
