Meaning |
Scoring based on whole number values (e.g. 10, 9, 8). Often used with multi-ring targets and hit miss events. Integer scoring first became popular in the mid to late 19th century. Decimal scoring began to replace Integer scoring in the late 20th century, as it is a more precise method to evaluate athlete performance. |
