Installing Canon drivers for my scanner

Orion system requires the Canon TWAIN driver to work properly. There are three ways to install the drivers.

Option 1 (Recommended): Install Drivers from Within Orion

Requires the most current version of Orion (Currently Version 2.21.3.2)..

1.Open the Orion software on your computer.

2.From the menu bar click on 'Tools,' then 'Install Canon Scanner Drivers,' then the name of your scanner.

3.Orion will begin to download the drivers in the background. Depending on the speed of your connection this process may take several minutes. Once downloaded the installation process will begin.

Option 2: Install Drivers using the setup disk

Canon Scanners come with a 'Set-up' disk. If you still have access to your setup desk, run it, and select the 'Typical' installation.

Option 3: Install Drivers by Downloading from Canon

TWAIN drivers can be downloaded and installed directly from Canon's Website. After clicking the appropriate link below, select the Drivers and Downloads option, then select Drivers so that the menu option is highlighted in red. The current driver version is listed below.
