It is important to load the targets into your scanner with the correct orientation. With the Canon DR-3010C (Legacy), P-208ii, DR-C230, DR-C240, and DR-M260, the targets are loaded such that the top of the targets are fed into the scanner first. The aiming bulls should face away. That is to say, if you are looking at the scanner from the front or top, the aiming bulls are not visible.
Canon DR-C125/C225 (Legacy) - the Aiming Bulls should face towards you and the bottom of the target should be scanned first.
Canon DR-4010/6010 (Legacy) - the Aiming Bulls should face towards you and the top of the target should be scanned first.
