•Megalink integration is available to Orion for Club license users, with the most current version of Orion (Currently Version 2.21.3.2).
•The Megalink program MLRange is required. It is what Orion communicates with to receive score data.
•The MLRange Event and Orion Match must be configured with an equivalent course of fire.
•The MLRange Event must have been set up to "Send Automatically".
•Orion currently supports importing scores from the following target types:
o10m Air Rifle
o10m Air Pistol
o50m Rifle
o50ft Rifle (50m Rifle reduced for 50ft)
The following commands are followed within MLRange.
1.From the Menu bar, click on "Results" and then "Send to office."
These commands are followed within Orion, once started shots will automatically be imported into Orion. 1.Click on the "Import Megalink Results" button. 2.Orion will prompt you for fields relevant to Megalink's "MLRange." These are "Event Code," "Event Variant," "Phase," and "Stage." In most cases, the only relevant field is "Event Code." Make sure two values are equal to the settings in "MLRange." oThe "Event ID" (which is a combination of the four fields) is identical to the "Event ID" in the "MLRange Event Settings." oThe "Exchange Directory" is identical to the value listed in "MLRange Interface Settings." 3.Once these settings are verified, click "Start" to continuously read results into Orion. |
These commands are followed from MLRange and after each stage or relay is completed firing. 1.From the menu bar, click on "Results" and then "Send to office." 2.Select the correct relay, and click, "OK."
These commands are followed within Orion, if you chose not to have results automatically imported in Method 1, above. 3.Click on the "Import Megalink Results" button. 4.Orion will prompt you for fields relevant to Megalink's "MLRange." These are "Event Code," "Event Variant," "Phase," and "Stage." In most cases, the only relevant field is "Event Code." Make sure two values are equal to the settings in "MLRange." oThe "Event ID" (which is a combination of the four fields) is identical to the "Event ID" in the "MLRange Event Settings." oThe "Exchange Directory" is identical to the value listed in "MLRange Interface Settings." 5.Specify the "Relay to Import" number. 6.Once these settings are verified, click "Import" to read results into Orion. |
Support for Megalink electronic targets and comprising systems, including the program MLRange, is done by Megalink. Please contact your Megalink representative for support or sales information.
